Thursday, February 23, 2017This week I turned my thesis in for one of the final reviews/revisions. I am pretty excited. I have been working on this Doctorate of Ministry for a looooong time. So, this is a huge milestone for me. I cannot believe how much time I wasted being freaked out about one thing or another related to writing the thing! I will only share the title here (because I am nice like that).
DEVELOPING SELF-AWARENESS AND HEALTHY RESPONSE TO CONFLICT
IN THE LEADERSHIP AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
PIERRE, SOUTH DAKOTA
Completed the project this last summer with a wonderful group of leaders from FBC. And finally got the whole thing written up and formatted. If you need help figuring out how to format a large paper just ask me-I had a ton of problems I had to figure out. I might possibly be able to help you if you can't get your pagination, margins, and spacing to conform!! Still having nightmares about that stuff.
We are moving into the Lenten season next week with our traditional, ecumenical Lenten Worship with our friends from Resurrection Lutheran Church and The Church of Hope (inside South Dakota Women's Prison). Both other churches are in Pierre. If you are around drop in either at FBC or RLC, just down the street, we alternate locations. It begins with a soup supper from 5:30 - 6:15 pm, then Worship from 6:15-7:00 pm. Ash Wednesday will be at RLC. If you are into giving something up for Lent, consider:
